Abstract:
This talk will describe Dr. Bhattacharya’s research journey, the research opportunities available at Fermilab, and the applications of Artificial Intelligence in neutrino physics.

Bio:
Dr. Meghna Bhattacharya is an Applications Physicist II within the Computational Science and AI Directorate at Fermilab. She is at the forefront of developing AI tools for neutrino physics and plays a leading role in multiple physics searches within the MicroBooNE and Deep Underground Neutrino Experiment (DUNE) experiments. Dr. Bhattacharya earned her Ph.D. from the University of Mississippi, where she worked on the Muon g-2 experiment before joining Fermilab in 2018 as a graduate student. Outside of her professional work, Dr. Bhattacharya enjoys mixed martial arts, hiking, and reading.
